2012, USA; By Alex Webbe/ Chris Del Gatto’s Circa team made quite an impression on the high-goal season at the International Polo Club scoring three opening wins before falling to a determined Coca-Cola team.  The win pits  Coca-Cola (4-0) against Lucchese (4-0) in Sunday’s title game.

2012 USA; By Alex Webbe/ Wins by Lucchese and Coca-Cola Wednesday afternoon in the 2012 Joe Barry Memorial Cup at the International Polo Club in Wellington set the stage for Sunday’s finals between the two 20-goal teams, while Audi’s convincing victory over Heathcote established the finals of the bobby Barry Cup, the tournament’s subsidiary competition.

2012 USA; By Alex Webbe/ In earlier action Lucchese raced out to an 8-4 halftime lead before downing Valiente I 14-11 to keep its record unblemished at 3-0 and set up a Wednesday showdown with Valiente II (3-0) in Bracket 1 play.

2012 USA;By Alex Webbe/ Coca-Cola (3-0) scored early and often against previously unbeaten Heathcote (2-1) in Joe Barry Memorial Cup action at the International Polo Club in Wellington Sunday afternoon, registering a 12-8 win and a berth in the semifinals on Wednesday, January 25.

Valiente II stays unbeaten with 13-9 win over Piaget

2012 USA; By Alex Webbe/ Piaget jumped out to an early 4-1 start but Valiente II took control by the end of the first half and rode off with a 13-9 win in Joe Barry Memorial Cup play Saturday afternoon at the International Polo Club.  The win keeps Valiente II undefeated in bracket play and will set up a showdown between Valiente II (3-0) and Lucchese (2-0) to decide a tournament finalist if Lucchese can win Sunday’s meeting with Valiente I (1-2).

2012 USA; Alex Webbe/Earlier in the day Tommy Biddle scored ten goals in leading Heathcote (2-0) to a 12-9 win over Zacara (0-2) in Bracket II competition.  The win will set up Sunday’s 3pm contest between Heathcote and Coca-Cola to see who will qualify for semifinal play.
